CustomTableView:getCellText

This function gets text of cell of Custom Table View.

Syntax

string CustomTableView:getCellText([cline/int Line, ccolumn/int Column])

Other Arguments

  • Line - Index of Line in Table View (from 1), not 0, or Line Object, returned with CustomTableView:addLine. Default is 1.
  • Column - Index of Column in Table View (from 1), not 0, or Column Object, returned with CustomTableView:addColumn. Default is 1.

Returns

Returns string - text of cell of Custom Table View.

This example creates window with table view, sets new cell text, and prints text of 2 cells: 

local Window = CustomWindow.create(50, 50, 250, 220, "Example")
local TabView = CustomTableView.create(5, 25, 240, 190, false, Window)

TabView:addColumn("Column", 80)
local Column = TabView:addColumn("Another Column", 120)

for i = 1, 10 do

	if i == 3 then
		Line = TabView:addLine(21)
	else
		TabView:addLine(21)
	end

	for j = 1, TabView:getColumnsCount() do

		TabView:setCellText(i, j, i.." "..j)
	end
end

TabView:setCellText(Line, Column, "New Cell Text")
outputChatBox(TabView:getCellText(Line, Column).." "..TabView:getCellText(Line-1, Column-1))
