This function sets state parameter of discord rich presence.

Syntax

bool setDiscordState(string state)

OOP Syntax Help! I don't understand this!

Method: discord:setState(...)


Required Arguments

  • state: Details as a string. (pass nil to reset to default)

Returns

Returns true if effect have been set successfully, false otherwise.

Example

addEventHandler("onClientResourceStart", resourceRoot, function()
    setDiscordState("Loading...")
end)

Requirements

Minimum server version n/a
Minimum client version 1.5.8-9.00000

Note: Using this feature requires the resource to have the above minimum version declared in the meta.xml <min_mta_version> section. e.g. <min_mta_version client="1.5.8-9.00000" />
