Die Steamversion von GTASA ist aktuell nicht kompatibel mit MTASA. Mit folgenden einfachen Schritten kannst du deine Steamversion kompatibel zu MTASA machen:
* Finde ein '''GTA SA 1.00 No CD''' (Google wird dir dabei sicher helfen). Du musst eine 1.00 Cracked/NoCd EXE nutzen und keine Imagedisk. Einige HOODLUM release laufen gut.
* Öffne das gedownloadete Archiv mit WinRar oder einem anderen .rar Programm. In diesem , solltest du eine gta_sa.exe finden. Füge nun die gta_sa.exe in deinem Installationsverzeichnis ein. Dies sollte normalerweise unter '''C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto san andreas''' zu finden sein. Während dieses Vorgangs musst du keine Datei ersetzen.

Dieser Vorgang hat keinen Effekt auf deine Steamversion von GTASA. Er macht es nur möglich GTASA neben der Steam Version zu starten.

Wenn alles nicht hilft und du Kaspersky, Anti-Virus or Internet Security benutzt, dann schau nach, ob die "multi theft auto.exe" als nicht verboten/blocken. Andere Antiviren Software könnte MTA am starten hindern.

Wenn du Windows Vista oder Windows 7 benutzt, dann versuch folgendes:
* Aktiviere den "Windows XP SP3" Kompatiblitätsmodus für die Multi Theft Auto.exe und die gta_sa.exe und setze bei auf "Als Administrator ausführen".

Zuerst konfigurierst du MTA so wie du es möchtest, dann beendest du das Spiel und startest es erneut. Nun sollten die Einstellungen gespeichert sein. Alternativ kannst du versuchen die coreconfig.xml Datei zu löschen und dann MTA zu konfigurieren und es zu neu zu starten.
