There are 3 weapon levels:

ID Skill name
0 Poor
1 Gangster

The higher weapon skill levels improve your weapons. Some weapons do not have any upgrades. Each weapon specifies unique upgrades at each level, but only the following characteristics are improved:

  • Ability to move with weapon
  • Weapon damage
  • Weapon accuracy
  • Dual wield capability (At stat level 1000, you receive a 2nd gun and dual wield is enabled)

Note: To see a complete list of what each level does, refer to GTASA's weapon.dat.
