First of all, we need someone to edit the video. I could do it, but I think most of you are capturing WMV footage which will cause problems for me on a Mac. Secondly, we need people to document ALL of the scripting footage that they have (even if parts of it are unsuitable - we might still be able to make use of it) so that we're not capturing things that are already available. - JonChappell 21:56, 11 November 2006 (CST) | First of all, we need someone to edit the video. Sorry for the inactivity with this project - I've been busy lately. I think we should firstly create a big video, made of most interesting features and possibilities of our scripting system - in the form of previous MTASA trailers. When this is created, we can announce scripting, and move on to the small scripting vids project, which we could post fairly frequently on the blog, with their script code, and an introduction for the feature. | Sorry for the inactivity with this project - I've been busy lately. *I'm not sure if I agree with that or not. If we are going to stretch it over a long period of time, it may be better to try and save huge surprises, rather than give everyone the general idea of anything cool that can be done, and then showing them the cool stuff actually being done later.--Ransom 19:05, 18 November 2006 (CST) | |||
** I believe we should show them the cool stuff first and then show them how it's done later on. We really need to rebuild support for the mod, and I think a kickass scripting video would achieve this. - JonChappell |
