Compatibility

If a version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas marked below as compatible is not working, please try reinstalling MTA:SA. If that doesn't work, follow these instructions. If that still doesn't work, then please contact us on on the forums, or join the MTA Discord #help-support channel.

Obtaining compatible & used copies

Officially, the only way to purchase a compatible copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas from Rockstar Games and Take-Two is through the purchase of the classic collection Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy (2005) on the Rockstar Store.
