This function allows you know whether the specific dgs element is attached to other dgs element.

Syntax

bool dgsElementIsAttached( element dgsElement )

Method: DGSElement:isAttached(...)

Required Arguments

  • dgsElement: An element you want to check

Returns

Returns true if is attached, false otherwise.

Example

This example check if you attached a label to window 

DGS = exports.dgs

window = DGS:dgsCreateWindow(50,50,100,100,"dgs", false) -- create a window
label = DGS:dgsCreateLabel(0,200,100,100,"label", false) -- create a label
outputChatBox(DGS:dgsElementIsAttached(label)) -- check if is label attached to window
DGS:dgsAttachElements(label,window,10,20,false,50,50,false) -- attach label to window
setTimer(function()
    DGS:dgsDetachElements(label) -- detach label from window
    outputChatBox(DGS:dgsElementIsAttached(label)) -- check if is label attached to window
end, 5000, 1 )
