This function deletes a part of text from the memo by index and line.

Syntax

bool dgsMemoInsertText ( element theElement, int index, int line, string text )

Required Arguments

  • theElement: The memo to be changed.
  • index: An integer indicated where the text will be inserted into the memo ( the text index of current 'line'. start from 0 ).
  • line: An integer indicated which line of the text will be inserted into the memo ( start from 1 ).
  • text: A string that you want to insert into the memo.

Returns

Returns true if the text is inserted into the memo successfully, false otherwise.

Example

DGS = exports.dgs
memo = DGS:dgsCreateMemo(500,200,200,300,"This is a dgs-dxmemo",false)
DGS:dgsMemoInsertText(memo,1,1,"Here is DGS")
